Nerja Urbanisations
If you prefer to live on the outskirts of Nerja then Nerja urbanisation are for you, there are many types of urbanisations ranging from small to large the most popular without a doubt is Capistrano village. Built back in the early 80's the Capistrano village is one of the most popular with beautiful well kept gardens and communal pool there is a village atmosphere and great rental potential.  New urbanisations are being built like the Tamango Hill to the west of Nerja in the direction of Torrox and Los Olivos area which is still under construction and being sold off plan, located next to Capistrano.

Urbanisations in Nerja each have there own community which maintain the surrounding gardens and swimming pool areas, they employ  gardeners to work all year round keeping every thing in order, paid by an annual fee and the amount depends on the size of your property which is set by an administration company appointed by the community. If your renting a property these fee's should be include in your monthly rent so don't forget to check before you sign up.
Nerja Outskirts
The outskirts of Nerja offer fantastic day trips out, mountain walks offering spectacular views of the Mediterranean which can be enjoyed by the whole family, picnics to be had in the summer sun in the beautiful Natural Parks all within walking distance to Nerja centre, purchasing a property here would be a great advantage to anyone looking to enjoy life to the fullest in these luxurious surroundings with breathtaking views guaranteed.
Nerja Countryside
The county side of Nerja offers some of the best views on the Costa del Sol to be enjoyed by anyone who appreciates long walks in the warm summer evenings with a sun set that is hard to beat, there are many Natural parks close to Nerja which are completely un spoilt, there are also Horse riding trips at a very reasonable rate that takes you up and around the local Mountains tracks for the whole family to enjoy.
Punta Lara urbanisation
West of Nerja offers an authentic experience of living in a small residential village with narrow walk ways, stunning views and beautiful garden surroundings. There is a great mix of all year round residents and self catering holiday makers providing a homely feel to the village. There are two wonderful pools surrounded with three bars. The regular bus service into the heart of Nerja and taxi's that are available throughout the day or night make this an ideal choice for living in Spain.
Urbanisation Tropicana
West of Nerja bordering Punta Lara has been designed in typical Andalusian style with beautiful landscaped gardens, giving the whole area a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere.  The variety of properties from apartment to town houses and villas all have stunning views of the surrounding countryside, mountains and sea.
Ladera del Mar
Ladera del Mar is a modern hillside urbanisation about 2km from the centre of Nerja. The urbanisation is set in wonderful flower gardens and features a gorgeous pool surrounded by lawns. This urbanisation is mainly detached villas with private pools with a few stylish apartment blocks. The nearest beach, a small sandy cove, is about 500 metres away. The nearest shops are in Nerja or Torrox Costa, both roughly 3 kilometres from the urbanisation.
Fuente del Baden
Fuente del Baden is a quiet, fairly large family urbanisation at the eastern end of Nerja on the N-340 coastal road bordering the famous Capistrano village. Mainly detached villas with large private gardens this urbanisation is for people looking for privacy and tranquility within walking distance of the town centre. There is no communal pool or gardens on this urbanisation as most properties have private swimming pools and gardens.
San Juan de Capistrano
San Juan de Capistrano the highest point in Nerja located above Capistrano Village built on a hillside affording magnificent views of Nerja. This modern development has a communal pool and a number of good bars and restaurants. Being on a hillside, of course, many of the streets are quite steep.The centre of town (Balcon de Europa) is approximately 20 minutes walk. Mixture of property types with a holiday atmosphere.
Tamango Hill
Tamango Hill is a peaceful, modern development of detached private villas and townhouses located on the Torrox & Nerja border, The houses are built into the hillside and are on several levels, each with a terrace and balcony with sea view and most have a private swimming pool.
